Shipwrights reliever Ronald Conrad has suffered a setback in his rehabilitation for a sore elbow. He was expected to finish treatment soon and rejoin the team slightly ahead of schedule. Doctors reevaluated him after he felt severe pain in a recent workout. The preliminary examination revealed more damage and is worse than the first injury. Anonymous sources in Maine told BNN Ronald Conrad would be absent from the roster quite a bit longer than originally diagnosed. He would now have to miss at least one week.
Checking out his season stats to date, Conrad has no saves in 38 relief appearances with a 4-3 record and 4.72 ERA.
